Hi, you have great info here as i am new to joomla I have installed 2.5.11 and want to enable a user to view the sales orders only when user is logged in on back end. I have managed to create a link to view orders on the quick icons but when clicked it tells me only vendor or admin can view, ofcourse me as admin can view however I have set many different permissions but only that of Super User can view orders in vmart..
I have also noticed in my Global Configurations – Permissions-Super User or any user there is no Access Component Action.. Please help if you have any info…Thank you, Chris

      Hi Chris,

Thanks for your post, and a warm welcome to the world of Joomla!

Yes – the lack ACL in VirtueMart 2.0 has been a bone of contention amongst VirtueMart fans, however there are a few options out there to work around the situation. Hopefully the below links will provide some insight into the problem, and workarounds to solve it.

I hope this helps, and I’d love to know which solution works best for you.

      Many thanks,
      Sara
